New Surgical Pavilion
Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Although the hospital has come a long way since it opened, the surgical suites are original to the facilities. The surgical department was built at a time when rooms were smaller and construction to support future technology was not considered. In order to keep up with technology and the growing needs of our community, Good Samaritan Hospital is building a new surgical pavilion, which will house 15 new, state-of-the-art surgical suites.
Your gift to our surgical expansion project will support innovative technology advancements at Good Samaritan Hospital. The newly renovated operating rooms will be larger to accommodate the latest technology and allow staff more room to work. Updated and expanded recovery and pre- and post-operating rooms offer more private and personal care. The expansion will also feature a new central sterile area dedicated to improve infection control and meet the needs of a larger surgery center, and a new family waiting area.
