On October 13, more than 250 guests attended Trinity Hospital's Gala 2007: We've got heart! The Cadillac Club at Soldier Field was the perfect setting for guests to enjoy dinner, a performance by Kaotic Drumline and dancing to the sounds of Gentlemen of Leisure. To honor his dedication to the hospital, Frank Igleski received the Barbara K. Minster Community Service Award.
With the theme of the night, "One team, one goal," the gala raised more than $110,000 for cardiovascular services at Trinity Hospital. Funds will support the hospital's ability to provide new and specialized treatments for cardiovascular disease. Trinity Hospital's service area has a higher prevalence of heart disease than all other areas in Chicago. As the main care provider in the area, Trinity is advancing its services to offer minimally invasive diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for cardiovascular disease. Centered on interventional cardiology, the new program features non-surgical procedures and state-of-the-art equipment.
