Welcome to the Advocate Addiction Treatment Program
"An estimated 10 percent of the population has an addiction problem. We offer these people a bridge between addiction and recovery." Martin Doot, M.D., Medical Director, Advocate Addiction Treatment Program
The Advocate Addiction Treatment Program is designed to assist individuals who have a drug or alcohol addiction. For 45 years, our professionals have helped thousands of people overcome their addictions. We address the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of our patients and their families, leading the way in helping each patient reestablish a balanced life.
Medical Professionals The Advocate Addiction Treatment Program shares the values and philosophies of the 12-step self-help recovery programs. All physicians involved in the program are certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and offer sophisticated understanding and management of this complex illness. The physicians are part of Advocate Medical Group and are on staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Supporting our physicians and patients is a highly skilled and experienced team of addiction counselors and licensed clinicians. Our patients also have the benefit of the involvement of an addiction psychiatrist and other psychiatrists on staff at Lutheran General Hospital.
