Holiday Festival

From Wednesday, December 13, through Saturday, December 16, 2006, Advocate Bethany Hospital held its Annual Holiday Village on its campus for the community. During this holiday extravaganza, Bethany associates provided over 400 gifts and holiday treats for underprivileged children residing in the Austin, West and East Garfield Park and North Lawndale communities.

In addition, the children toured the Doll Showcase Room featuring over 100 porcelain collectible dolls of varying cultures on display. The event was complimented by a visit from Santa, where the children had the opportunity to take a photo with good ol' Saint Nick.

The Annual Holiday Village was also a cultural learning experience for the children with multiple enrichment activities focusing on religions across the world.
