Community Outreach

The mission of Community Outreach Ministry of Advocate Bethany Hospital is to serve the individual, families and communities in the Austin, Humboldt Park, North Lawndale, West and East Garfield Park areas by providing life saving knowledge to promote wellness and illness prevention rooted in the philosophy that the body is the temple of God.

Through Compassion, Equality, Excellence, Stewardship, and Partnership, our main priority is to offer a wide range of wholistic heath programs and services that meet the needs of our communities.

It is our vision to be a leader in providing community services in the metropolitan Chicago.

By developing relationships with local schools and community organizations, people will know that Bethany has achieved that vision and fulfilled its mission when the following characteristic can be observed:

• Effective collaboration with our community partners.
• Sponsoring of programs that have a positive impact on the community residents.
• Consistent networking with local community organizations.
• Increased physician, associate and community involvement/participation.
• Recognized as a resource for the community
