Radiology & Diagnostic Services

Radiology services are provided to inpatients, emergency and outpatients, for the purpose of acquiring diagnostic images of the human body. These services include Diagnostic Radiology, CT, Mammography and General/Vascular Ultrasound. In addition, off-site services are provided for inpatient MRI’s and Nuclear Medicine studies that are not performed in-house. These studies are referred to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, following procedural guidelines established between the two sites.

ROUTINE DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Routine non-patient prep exams (e.g., chest, extremities) do not require scheduling and are generally performed between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

CT
CT procedures require scheduling directly by CT staff. The department may be called at 773-265-3594 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to schedule a CT exam.

MRI/NUCLEAR MEDICINE
MRI and Nuclear Medicine services are not provided in-house. Specified studies may be ordered on inpatients only, following procedural guidelines established between Illinois Masonic and Bethany.

ULTRASOUND
Patients or physician office staff may contact the outpatient scheduling department at 773-265-3595. Exams may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

MAMMOGRAPHY
Patients or physician office staff may contact the outpatient scheduling department at 773-265-3595, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to schedule an exam.
