Clinical rotations are composed of four week blocks. There are 13 clinical rotations per year of training.
During the academic year, residents are also assigned one half day per week in general pediatric continuity clinic. All clinics are held on site. In addition to three weeks of vacation, each resident gets to choose a six day block over the winter break.
In addition to a strong set of core rotations, we will be adding specialty tracts to comply with the Next Accreditation System. This year, we have several PGY3s piloting electives geared toward their future career goals. We plan on building similar individualized specialty tracts for each resident during the PL3 year.
