Funding opportunities

Below is a list of programs at Hope Children's Hospital that currently need your support.

Cancer Survivorship Clinic
Hope Children's Hospital's follow-up clinic for survivors of childhood cancer is the most effective and comprehensive mechanism to provide medical services, education and psychosocial support to young cancer survivors and their families. While new treatments have increased survival rates, they also contribute to long-term physiologic and cognitive effects. Your gift can help pediatric cancer survivors and their families transition back to "normal" life.

Hearts for Hope

Hearts for Hope is a volunteer organization dedicated to raising awareness and monetary support for the children and families cared for by Hope Children's Hospital. Funds donated to Hearts for Hope help purchase equipment, furnishings and provisions for the comfort of patients and families. The group has also created a Family Assistance Program to aid families of hospitalized children financially. Throughout the year, the organization hosts toy drives, patient parties, special events and educational seminars.

The Keyser Family Pediatric Cancer Center
The Keyser Family Pediatric Cancer Center at Hope Children's Hospital provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for children, from infants through adolescents, in virtually all childhood cancers. Your gift supports a multidisciplinary approach, a focus on family that minimizes the impact on daily life, and advanced and comfortable environments for patient care.

Pediatric Cardiology Programs
Hope Children's Hospital is a regional leader in caring for children with congenital and acquired heart disease. The hospital is home to the nationally renowned Heart Institute for Children, which offers the latest advances in diagnostics and treatment services. Your gift will help the hospital continue to pioneer lifesaving procedures and treatments.

Pediatric Diabetes Program
As the number of overweight U.S. children has increased, so too, has the number of children with diabetes — a condition that can lead to heart disease, kidney failure and nerve damage. To meet the growing demand for care, the hospital recently launched a pediatric diabetes program. Charitable gifts will help the program acquire state-of-the-art equipment and support important lifestyle-education and family-support services that are not covered by health insurance.

Ronald McDonald House®
Families of children receiving medical treatment now have a comfortable and inexpensive place to stay near Hope Children's Hospital. Charitable gifts will support the ongoing operations and maintenance of the 16-bedroom guest house.

Ronald McDonald Care Mobile
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana® has partnered with Advocate Christ Medical Center to provide preventative health care for children and teens from low-income households. Services include (but are not limited to) school physicals, immunizations, asthma care, health screenings, prenatal instruction and education, and well-baby care throughout the community. Your support enables the CareMobile to visit dozens of schools and health fairs annually and to provide care for hundreds of children who otherwise would not be able to receive health care.

Women's and Infants' Health Services
Services to help women and babies live happier, healthier lives include comprehensive primary and preventive care; educational classes and health screenings; a complete spectrum of specialty services to address women's health care needs across the lifespan; and specialized infant services such as pediatric care, a neonatal intensive care unit, prenatal testing and high-risk and genetic counseling. Charitable gifts enable us to upgrade, expand and renovate the areas of the hospital that serve women at all stages of pregnancy and their children. The focus will be on the birthing areas, neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric intensive care unit.
