Charitable gifts are vital to the hospital
One of the state's largest, most comprehensive medical centers, Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is committed to improving patient care, educating the next generation of health professionals and increasing access to care. Charitable gifts enable us to build state-of-the-art facilities such as the recently renovated Creticos Cancer Center; offer specialized educational programs for clinical staff; deliver services for underserved populations such as the deaf and hard of hearing; and provide financial assistance that enables members of our community to get the care they need. Founded in the Masonic tradition, Illinois Masonic Medical Center upholds its tradition of serving all and has cared for individuals from around the world.

Funding opportunities
Below is a list of programs at Illinois Masonic Medical Center that currently need your support.
2009 President's Fund for Special Needs Your support of the 2009 President's Fund for Special Needs will help Illinois Masonic Medical Center extend health care access, educate the next generation of doctors and nurses, and improve patient care. Your gift will help us reach our goal of raising $250,000 in 2009 to better serve our patients and invest in the health needs of our community.
Nursing Education Endowment Your support of the Nursing Education Endowment helps us invest in Illinois Masonic Medical Center's nurses. The endowment generates interest that supports the medical center's unique R.N. residency program, provides for continuing education and professional development, and recognizes nurses who continue to improve our care and make Illinois Masonic one of the best places for nursing in the country.
Access to Care Fund Your gift to the Access to Care Fund removes financial, cultural and operational barriers for our patients. Access to Care Fund gifts support community health outreach, education and care for the uninsured-important activities in our uncertain economy.
Education for Health Professionals Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center educates more physicians than any other hospital like it in Illinois. The Education for Health Professionals Fund helps the center's medical staff, nurses, pharmacists, technicians and other patient-care associates enhance their skills and knowledge. Your support of our fellows, residents, nurses and continuing medical education activities will help improve patient care, promote teaching and research and give a gift that can result in a lifetime of professional service.
Trauma Center Every second is critical for a trauma patient. With your contribution, Illinois Masonic Medical Center — one of four Level I Trauma Centers in Chicago — can continue to offer the highest level of trauma care to Chicago's North Side.
