Childhood Trauma Treatment Program

Advocate Family Care Network's Childhood Trauma Treatment Program (CTTP) provides Outpatient Behavioral Health Care assessment and treatment to children, adolescents and families that have experienced maltreatment, psychological trauma and sexual abuse.

Services provided by the CTTP:

  • Psychotherapy and Counseling Services: Our staff provides these services to treat a variety of behavioral and psychological conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, sexual abuse, trauma, child & adolescent sexual behavior problems, and other behavioral difficulties.
  • Psychosexual (for youth with sexual behavior problems), Trauma, and a Multidisciplinary Specialty Assessments (MDSA): We provide psychological testing utilizing specialized interviews and a variety of psychological instruments to determine the treatment needs, appropriate systemic interventions, and effective follow-up care for children and teens that experience sexual behavior problems and trauma.
  • Foster Parent Support: Foster parents are included in our treatment and are offered support and behavioral management training to stabilize foster care placements of children.
  • Community Education Presentations: Our staff offers educational presentations to the public and professional groups on a range of behavioral health topics and sexual abuse issues.

Advocate Family Care Network has a DCFS contract and accept most HMO/PPO health insurance plans, but does not accept Medicaid. They provide assessments and general counseling services for foster children, teens, and adults. We provide assessments and treatment for sexual behavior problems for foster children ages 16 and under (SAP - formerly SACY).

The Childhood Trauma Treatment Program (CTTP) is supported by charitable donations, grants, and fees.  CTTP is a non-for-profit 501c3 organization.  Since 1979 we have provided counseling, psychotherapy, and specialized psychological testing to abused and maltreated children, teens, and families.  We need your help to assist us in providing services to those who desperately need our help.  100% of your gifts and donations goes directly to CTTP.
