Trinity Hospital makes every effort to help students who need financial aid to pursue an education related to the field of Radiologic Technology. Aid available to eligible students include scholarships, grants and loans. The student s aid package may include assistance in some or all of these forms. Grants (based on financial need) and scholarships (awards for academic achievement and ability to succeed in the program) do not have to be repaid; loans (offered at low rates ) must be repaid in accordance with the signed promissory note.

Eligibility Requirements

Financial need:
Financial need is the difference between the cost of attending Advocate Trinity Hospital and the amount the student or the student's family can reasonably be expected to contribute. This contribution is computed on the basis of documented income and other related information (size of family, for instance) which every applicant for financial aid must provide. Trinity Hospital upholds the principle that the primary responsibility for financing post secondary education belongs to the student or family, insofar as they are able. After an applicant for financial aid is processed, the Financial Aid Office will put together an individualized package a combination of grant or loan money based on the applicant's computed need and the dollars available through each program.

Satisfactory Progress:
Students in good academic standing and those pursing good academic standing for no more than two semesters will receive financial aid under Title IV of the Higher Education Act. They must earn a 2.0 GPA at full-time attendance each semester in accordance with the academic policy and must complete the certificate program within the specified time of 24 months.

Full-time status is defined as one who is in attendance for 17 weeks (semester) at 40 hours per week.

Part-time status is not recognized.
