Advocate Health Care to offer Free Flu Shots for Food
WHAT: Offering the community protection against the flu while helping the hungry, Advocate Health Care will offer free flu shots in exchange for non-perishable food items at 6 of its Immediate Care Centers across suburban Chicago. Every person, 18 years or older, who brings an item to one of the centers will receive a free flu shot while supplies last. Food items will be donated to local community food banks before the Thanksgiving holiday.
WHEN: Saturday, Nov.11 and Sunday, Nov.12. Times vary per site.
WHERE: Advocate Immediate Care Centers in Libertyville, Round Lake Beach, Gurnee, Downers Grove, Lemont and Barrington.
