Advocate Health Care Ranked 8th in the Nation for Healthcare Integration
Oak Brook, IL - Advocate Health Care announced today that it has recognized as one of the nation’s leading health care organizations in integration according to IMS, the country’s leading provider of information services for the healthcare industry Advocate ranked 8th out of the top100 integrated hospital networks analyzed by the Connecticut-based, IMS Health.
IMS assessed the ability of healthcare networks to operate as unified organizations in eight categories including; overall integration, integrated technology, contractual capabilities, outpatient utilization, financial stability, services and access, hospital utilization, and physician integration. IMS has been tracking and analyzing integrated healthcare networks since 1994.

Last week, Advocate Health Care was named one of the nation's top health systems based on clinical performance for a fourth consecutive year by Thomson Reuters, a leading provider of information and solutions to improve the cost and quality of healthcare. Advocate was rated in the top 20 percent in the country. The rankings were based on clinical performance across the entire health system.
