At Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, our goal is to offer the expertise of a medical center, yet the personal touch of a community hospital. And for over 25 years, we've continued to deliver on our goals with a quality health care experience that's only found at Good Shepherd.

From advanced surgical capabilities and emergency services backed by a Level II Trauma Center to a state-of-the-art Birth Center, and a nationally recognized cancer program, we provide the best care possible with a genuine compassion for the human spirit.

Today, we continue focusing on a future of even greater achievement. We're expanding our services. Our new 32,000 square foot Emergency Department will increase and enlarge the number of treatment bays to accommodate the growing number of patients. The project also includes a new registration area, general radiology area, separate waiting area, nurse's station and general treatment area for minor care/fast track-patients, offices for Emergency Medical Services personnel and ED administration and an area reserved for staff education. This project was made possible in part through the philanthropy of Good Shepherd's generous community and Advocate Health Care.
