From Wrigley Field to Lincoln Park, Lakeview offers everything that makes Chicago great.
There's almost too much to talk about. Start with Lincoln Park-1,200 acres of green space along the shores of Lake Michigan and just blocks from the hospital. The Park features miles of walking, jogging, and bike paths; public beaches, and the world-renowned Lincoln Park Zoo.
Lakeview is home to some of the city's trendiest shops, restaurants, and theaters. Chicago's Gold Coast, Magnificent Mile, and the Loop are all nearby. And Wrigleyville-home of Wrigley Field and some of Chicago's best nightlife-is within walking distance.
Lakeview's location is also minutes from the northern suburbs of Evanston and Wilmette and easily reached via public transportation-there's actually an El stop right on the hospital's campus that can connect you with almost anywhere in the city. Best of all, the neighborhood is remarkably diverse. Homes range from high-rise condos to two- and three-flat brownstones to cottages on cozy tree-lined streets. And as incredible as it sounds, the cost of living is as reasonable as you'll find anywhere in Chicago. From students to young singles to families, there's truly something for everyone in Lakeview.
