Bariatric Services Come to McLean County

Advocate BroMenn Medical Center is pleased to bring safe, minimally invasive bariatric services to Bloomington-Normal and the McLean County area, through a unique partnership with Memorial Medical Center and Springfield Clinic in Springfield, IL.

Memorial Medical Center's award-winning bariatric program, which has brought hope and new lives to hundreds of individuals through safe and effective surgical options for clinically severe obesity.  Memorial's program was recently recognized as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

BroMenn and Memorial are working together to provide a comprehensive program for qualifying individuals in McLean County and the surrounding area.  BroMenn staff will provide pre- and post-operative nutrition, behavioral health and physical therapy services, lab work and imaging services at our facilities in Normal.  Memorial's bariatric surgeons will provide pre- and post-operative surgery clinics in Normal as well, while the actual surgical procedures will be performed in Springfield.
