Advocate BroMenn Wound Center Earns 'Center of Distinction' Honors
BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL, Ill.— Advocate BroMenn Medical Center’s Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine in Normal, Ill., was recently honored with the Center of Distinction Award by Diversified Clinical Services, Inc. (DCS), the world’s leading wound care management company. The Center has achieved outstanding patient outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction at 96% and a 97% wound healing rate within 28 median days to heal, among other quality outcomes.
Advocate BroMenn’s center is a member of the Diversified Clinical Services Network of over 325 centers, which provides access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating over two million chronic wounds.
“Our Wound Care Center heals chronic wounds of patients who might otherwise experience an amputation or other life-threatening conditions,” said Rochelle Augspurger, the center’s program director. “We are proud to provide this specialized and needed service to our community."
