Advocate BroMenn Hosts First "Girl Talk for Girls with Special Needs"
Advocate BroMenn Women’s Center will host "Girl Talk for Girls with Special Needs," an evening of fun and learning for moms and their daughters with special needs, ages 10-15, on Tuesday, December 11, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, 1304 Franklin Avenue, Normal.
The class marks the first time Advocate BroMenn has adapted its long-running and popular “Girl Talk” program to specifically address girls with special needs. The evening will focus on topics that include personal safety, self-esteem, and understanding body changes.
Moms and daughters will also have a chance to create a keepsake craft. Dinner will be served.
