Get Your Dance On at Advocate BroMenn's Annual Day of Dance
Local fitness instructors will lead “Power Hour,” just one of the new exciting features of the sixth annual “Day of Dance” event, sponsored by Advocate BroMenn Spirit of Women and Heartland Community College. The event will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 8 am – Noon at Heartland’s Fitness and Recreational Center, 1500 Raab Road, Normal.
“Power Hour” will wrap up the event featuring a high energy, interactive stage performance of Zumba, Jazzercise and the newest fitness craze, Werq. Hosted by WJBC morning host and Heartland Associate Director of Alumni/Outreach Colleen Reynolds, the event will also feature simple ways to stay healthy, physician presentations, vendors and more!
Day of Dance for Heart Health® is an interactive community event celebrating of the benefits of dance and exercise in the prevention of heart disease, the number one killer of women. Spirit of Women hospitals across the country will be participating in this national event to inspire women to take action to protect their heart and health.
