This two-stage program is designed to assist physicians in making recommendations regarding a patient's ability to continue driving. Balance, strength motions, vision and perceptual skills are all evaluated as they pertain to driving and a simulated driving skill test evaluates judgment, problem solving and decision making skills in various driving situations. Behind-the-wheel driving assessments are performed by an outside agency.
