Dr. Antone Tatooles has served on the medical staff of Advocate Christ Medical Center since 1996. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, Tatooles is a co-author of numerous abstracts and publications focusing on cardiothoracic and vascular surgery issues.
He graduated from Northwestern University's School of Medicine in 1989, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering. He completed residency training in general surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and advanced training in cardiothoracic surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Tatooles' previous academic appointments include clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago's medical center, clinical fellow in surgery at Harvard University and clinical instructor of surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine.
