Led by nationally recognized rehabilitation experts, our program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Patients recovering from the full range of neurological conditions receive acute rehabilitation services from bedside swallowing, speech and physical therapy to constraint-induced therapy to help stroke patients gain the use of partially paralyzed limbs.
Patients with spasticity, one of the more debilitating effects of stroke, have access to the latest therapies, including Botox injections for localized muscle problems and intrathecal baclofen (ITB) pumps implanted near the spine for more serious muscle conditions.
Rehabilitation therapists work with spine patients to address motor and sensory capabilities of the body, as well as their emotional response to recovery. Our spinal cord injury rehabilitation team is trained in the latest rehabilitation protocols for recovery.
