Franco Campanella, DO
Dr. Campanella directs the stroke program at the Neurosciences Institute. He is a board certified neurologist and graduated from Midwestern University. Dr. Campanella played an integral role in developing the stroke protocols that brought Advocate Christ Medical Center in line with the American Heart Association guidelines and earned Christ JCAHO status as a certified stroke center. Dr. Geraghty studied medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colo. He went on to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology as well as fellowships in diagnostic neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery/interventional neuroradiology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. Arthur Itkin, MD
Dr. Itkin directs the multiple sclerosis program at the Neurosciences Institute and was instrumental in earning Advocate Christ Medical Center distinction from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a designated treatment center. He is a board certified neurologist and psychiatrist. Dr. Itkin completed his medical training and residency at the University of Chicago. He served a fellowship at Loyola University Medical School and his clinical interests include utilizing data from the Human Genome Project to detect the exact molecular proteins to work with in finding more effective treatments of multiple sclerosis.

Ebby P. Jido, MD
Dr. Jido is the Medical Director for the pain management program at Advocate Christ Medical Center’s Neuroscience Institute and is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. Co-chairing the Neurosciences Institute co-chairman and chairing the department of neurology at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Dr. Wichter is a board certified neurologist. He pioneered the stroke center at Christ Medical Center and manages the stroke program for the entire Advocate system. Dr. Wichter graduated from New York Medical College and completed his residency at New York University. His clinical interests include the development of new technologies, devices and medication to treat aneurysms and stroke, addressing the cognitive issues associated with stroke, as well as clinical research to further advance treatments of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease.
