Sandra Aardsma, CyberKnife® Coordinator

Christ Medical Center has a dedicated CyberKnife® Coordinator, whose sole job is to support patients undergoing CyberKnife® treatment. Sandra Aardsma, RN, BSN, OCN, helps schedule patient appointments, answers questions and is patients' personal resource for any need they have throughout the treatment process. Sandra holds a certification in oncology nursing, having worked in Radiation Oncology at Advocate Christ Medical Center for seven years. Sandra is a teacher and an active participant in community outreach activities. She has won several awards for her compassion and dedication to patients, including the 2004 Joyce Woytek Nurse of the Year at Advocate Christ Medical Center, and the national 2005 Pearl Moore Career Development Award.
