Fast Track

Patients with minor bumps and bruises requiring an x-ray or those who need a simple lab procedure may be seen in the newly established Advocate Christ Medical Center Emergency Department Fast Track. This five-bed area, complete with its own waiting room, is staffed to move patients through evaluation and treatment without having to wait behind more complicated cases.

The Fast Track is open from Noon to 10 p.m. seven days a week. When this area is closed, patients receive attention in the general care or Pediatric Emergency Care areas. No children younger than age two are seen in the Fast Track area.
