
Cardiac Rehabilitation
The cardiac team at Advocate Christ Medical Center understands that rehabilitation and peer support are key components of recovery for patients who have suffered a heart attack or undergone surgery, and for improving the quality of life for patients coping with a chronic cardiac condition.
Christ Medical Center offers a comprehensive four-phase cardiac rehabilitation program, usually beginning while a patient is still in the medical center, progressing to a 12-week outpatient program that features telemetry monitoring, and continuing with outpatient maintenance.
