Accessible Outpatient Services

Coming to Advocate Christ Medical Center for outpatient services is easier than ever. With a separate entrance just north of the parking tower, valet parking, and registration just steps inside, our Diagnostic and Treatment Center consolidates most common outpatient services into one convenient location. Services include EKGs, simple x-rays, blood draws for lab tests, as well as GI services. The center also features a recovery area for GI and invasive cardiology patients.

In addition, the center offers access to both primary and specialty care in its Adult Medicine Center. Whether you are taking advantage of preventive screenings, seeking a diagnosis and resolution for a new problem, or making a regular visit for a chronic illness or condition, the Adult Medicine Center is your convenient outpatient resource for both primary and specialty care, including cardiology, wound care and endocrinology. Also based at the Adult Medicine Center is the Heart Failure Institute, one of the country's leading programs for treating congestive heart failure (CHF). It offers education and support, intravenous antibiotic therapy, outpatient blood transfusions, and intravenous infusion of cardiac medications.

To make your visit even easier, Christ Medical Center has stationed Guest Services staff at the outpatient entrance and all other points of entry. These individuals meet and greet visitors, provide information and directions, escort people to their destinations and assist those with special needs, providing translation services, wheelchairs and accommodations for people with disabilities.
