Effective Rehabilitation Programs

Patients in Christ Medical Center’s rehabilitation programs are survivors. They are rebuilding their strength and abilities--rebuilding their lives--following a significant injury or illness.

Christ Medical Center provides a full range of rehabilitation services for adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients at all levels of care.

Inpatient
A comprehensive acute inpatient adult rehabilitation program coordinated by a multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals designed to maximize functional independence and reintegration in to the community.

Outpatient
Outpatient services to ensure continued progress after leaving the medical center or to provide therapy for patients who do not require inpatient hospitalization.

The Adult Rehabilitation Program located in Palos Heights offers patients a full range of therapeutic services including physical and occupational therapy and speech language pathology for various conditions—from sports injuries and back problems to chronic pain and arthritis. Outpatient rehabilitation is also appropriate for people continuing to recover from traumatic injuries or stroke. Our staff includes clinicians with expertise and advanced certifications in many rehabilitation specialties.

Pediatric Services
A full range of comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation and development services are also available at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital. Services are dedicated to promoting the maximum level of functional independence for the child in the home, school and community.
