Like other not-for-profit organizations, Advocate relies on charitable and organizational support to help further its research efforts, clinical advancements and community outreach programs.
You make the difference
You have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the patients who need us most. Advocate Health Care strives to offer innovative research to improve patient outcomes, patient safety, and quality -and to deliver the latest investigational drugs and devices through clinical trials. As a not-for-profit group of hospitals and caregivers, we must rely on partnerships with friends and neighbors to expand and improve our research activities and infrastructure.
Where does your gift go?
Health is personal and individual, an intimate part of who we are. So is charitable giving. You can support a hospital, a program, a community; the direction of your gift is yours to decide. Advocate Health Care is committed to philanthropy and absorbs all administrative costs so that 100 percent of your gift directly benefits the research or program of your choice. Your generosity will be felt at home in your neighborhood—or perhaps in dozens of communities.
Research at Advocate: Making a Difference in Communities
Advocate is actively involved in Health Disparities Research, studies that focus on identifying, understanding, preventing, diagnosing, and treating health conditions that are unique to, more serious, or more prevalent in subpopulations in socioeconomically disadvantaged (i.e., low education level, live in poverty) and medically underserved, rural, and urban communities. Through this research we can bring better access to care to the communities and patients we serve.
Advocate also values research in education, quality, and patient safety, studies that demonstrate best practices and processes in medicine and the safest way to provide medical care. Through this research, Advocate can bring better educational programs, strategies to treatment, and safe medicine to the communities and patients we serve.
