Take control of your bladder health. If you experience frequency, urgency, leaking when coughing, sneezing, squatting or lifting, there is hope to regain control of your bladder without surgery. Causes of incontinence include infections, pregnancy, surgery, and obesity. It can also be brought on by diseases such as diabetes, multiple sclerosos and muscular dystrophy.
Treatment can help. Condell Community Rehabilitation Services provides physical therapy services for pelvic floor muscle weakness and/or coordination, stress urinary incontinence, urge incontinence, pelvic pain disorders and pregnancy-related lower back pain. If needed, treatment may include biofeedback or electrical stimulation to enhance muscle contraction or for pain control.
