Local Legislators Talk Healthcare with Advocate Condell Nurses
Libertyville, IL - -At the invitation of Advocate Condell Medical Center's Nurse Advocacy Council leaders, the hospital's local legislators addressed Condell's nursing staff at an open forum to discuss issues affecting nurses and the healthcare industry.
Earlier this month, Illinois Senator Dan Duffy, State Representative Ed Sullivan and State Representative Joanne Osmond attended Advocate Condell Medical Center's Nurse Advocacy Forum. The forum presented an opportunity for nurses to learn more about legislation that impacts nursing and the healthcare industry, and to hear guest legislators' perspectives on current legislation.
Led by Advocate Condell's Nurse Advocacy Council representatives, Robert Ford and Carol Exline, the Forum attracted more than 50 nurses.The Nurse Advocacy Forum is an annual event at all Advocate Health Care hospitals.
