 A state-designated Level II Trauma Center, Condell's Emergency Department treated more than 42,500 patients in 2002. The department doubled in size with the opening of an expanded facility in January 2003. The new facility provides 22 treatment rooms separated by walls instead of curtains to provide greater patient privacy. Additional rooms in our separately staffed Express Care area are designated for quick treatment of minor ailments and injuries such as sore throats, earaches and small cuts.
