Occupational therapists are graduates of an accredited college program receiving a Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. All occupational therapists are required by the state of Illinois to take and pass a registration exam, which enables them to be licensed and to practice.
Occupational therapists are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of disorders such as strokes Parkinson's disease and upper extremity musculoskeletal injuries.
