Our occupational health team includes board-certified physicians and specially trained nurses and technicians. And as part of Advocate Health Care, our occupational health centers are connected to Advocate's many resources, from specialized treatment to rehabilitation and more. After-hours care is provided through the emergency rooms at Advocate's eight hospitals and is fully coordinated with our occupational health centers.

Communication
For after-hours care, Advocate's emergency rooms and walk-in centers follow specific procedures requested by employers for treatment, paperwork and notification. The emergency rooms refer patients for follow-up care and forward full daily reports on patients seen to all Advocate Occupational Health centers.
