Advocate Center for Pediatric Research
critical care

Advocate Children's Hospital has been designated as Pediatric Critical Care Centers by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Emergency Medical Services for Children program. The designation reflects that the highest level of specialized pediatric critical care and emergency care services meet the unique needs of pediatric patients. In addition to this state- of-the-art care, both pediatric critical care divisions are active in research ranging from clinical trials of new medications or devices, to studies that our investigators have designed to advance our understanding of the treatments, testing, and biologic responses or processes that impact critically ill children.
