Advocate Eureka Hospital is accredited by DNV Healthcare, an independent, international organization whose purpose is to safeguard life, property and the environment. To earn and maintain accreditation, the hospitals must undergo an extensive on-site evaluation of compliance with the DNV's nationally recognized standards. The standards deal with the activities that affect the quality of patient care and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
