A University of Illinois College of Medicine Affiliated Program
Mission Statement
The Advocate Christ Family Medicine Residency Program trains exceptional family physicians who are committed to continuous learning and excellence. Our physicians serve their patients and community with a holistic and family-centered approach.
Philosophy
The Advocate Christ Family Medicine Residency Program seeks to meet the needs of our region by training family physicians who will serve primarily as clinicians, and who will be competent and motivated to provide community-oriented primary care to the underserved. The program is dedicated to giving physicians a postgraduate education that will prepare them in the comprehensive, continuous and personal health care of the highest quality to patients and their families in a variety of settings. It strives to ground graduates in the practice of evidence-based medicine in a holistic fashion-to prepare physicians who will be proficient both in the art and the science of medicine-and thus to be instrumental in meeting the healthcare objectives of our nation.
