The Endoscopy and Ambulatory Center provides a friendly outpatient environment that focuses on patient safety, comfort and privacy. Endoscopies are non-surgical procedures used to examine, diagnose and treat gastroenterological conditions from the inside, using a flexible tube attached with a light and camera. Endoscopy procedures can provide images for visual inspection and are also used to perform biopsies. The majority of patients in need of endoscopy services do not require general anesthesia.

Endoscopy services include:

  • Upper endoscopy-examines the upper digestive tract which includes the esophagus, stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum)
  • Colonoscopy-examines the colon and rectum
  • ERCP (biliary study)
  • Flexible sigmoidoscopy
  • Esophageal motilities

Please talk to your doctor to determine if we can help with these services.
