Services available include skilled nursing, infusion therapy, physical, occupational and speech therapy, home oxygen and respiratory therapy, medical social works, and assistance with personal care.
Advocate Hospice - Hospice is a special kind of care designed to assist patients, families, and friends during the final stages of life-limiting illness. The goal is to allow the patient to live out their days with dignity and comfort in the residence of their choice. The plan of care is coordinated through the patient's primary physician and/or the Advocate Hospice medical director. The focus is on improving the patient's quality of life through pain and symptom control, psychological and emotional support, and meeting spiritual needs. Emotional and spiritual support also extends to family members to help them cope with their own unique emotional and spiritual needs.
Nutrition Counseling - At Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Registered Dietitians provide personalized nutrition counseling according to your prescribed diet, medical history and nutritional goals.

Working with your physicians, the staff provides support for emotional and spiritual issues and clinical expertise to relieve symptoms. They will assist you to learn what's most important to you during this difficult time and help you develop a plan to achieve your goals.
Rehabilitation Services - Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital offers treatment programs including physical, occupational, speech and language therapies with the goal of returning the patient to their optimal functional level as quickly as possible. Therapists also educate patients and caregivers to maximize functional progress and patient/caregiver safety, to improve chances of sustained recovery.
Spiritual Care - Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital chaplains offer spiritual care to persons of all faith traditions and to those without a religious affiliation. When patients and their families have existing relationships to faith communities, chaplains will endeavor to support those relationships. Chaplains are aware of diverse religious and cultural beliefs and practices and special needs surrounding significant life passages. Chaplains are available to assist patients and families in resolving issues that involve ethical and/or religious values or concerns.
