The Level 1 Trauma Center recognizes that injury is a disease. Thousands of lives are lost and millions of dollars are spent annually as a result of trauma injuries. The injury prevention program in in collaboration with entities such as: Safe Kids, Region 8 Safe Communities, DuPage County Health, Downers Grove Police and Fire Departments, IDOT, NHTSA.
