Orthopedic Trauma Service
The Level I Trauma Center recognizes the
importance of providing specialized care for complicated orthopedic
injuries, both acute and chronic in nature. This commitment to providing
total, definitive trauma care led to the development of this specialty
service. The complexity and long-term nature of orthopedic trauma
requires the team approach that the Level 1 Trauma Center utilizes, along with strong
case management skills.

- Acute and Chronic Injuries
- Pelvic and Acetabular Fractures
- Complex Periarticular Fractures
- Infection, Malunions, Nonunions
- Polytraumatized
