Mammography and More
Mammography the best known tool for early detection of breast cancer is available from our caring staff at two locations: the Outpatient Services Center at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Good Samaritan Professional Building in Naperville. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, we also provide breast ultrasound and stereotactic needle biopsy - a sampling technique to evaluate lumps or very small abnormalities that cannot be felt but can be seen on a mammogram.

DEXA scanning for osteoporosis a dangerous loss of bone mass associated with aging also is available at our Outpatient Services Center. This noninvasive, pain-free test takes about 15 minutes and shows bone loss at an earlier stage than X-rays. |
