Art in the Barn

Artists: The art show is juried, and artists must submit four slides of their work plus a jurying fee to a committee of Chicago area art experts. Application

Art in the Barn began in 1975. A group of ten women, artists and craftsmen, met to develop a quality art event for the Barrington area. What began as an art show with 30 artists has grown to 185 artists and craftsmen from the Midwest. Attendance the first year was 1,500. Last year's event drew more than 7,500 people from surrounding communities as well as surrounding states. The event has generated more than $2 million dollars for the hospital.
