• The State of Illinois has designated Good Shepherd Hospital as a Level II Perinatal Center with Extended Capabilities.
• Our Special Care Nursery provides the technology neonatologists need to treat critically ill and premature newborns.
• Our neonatologists are available 24-hours a day.
• Board certified Obstetrics/Gynecologist are in the hospital 24-hours a day.
• Certified lactation consultants are available to assist you and your baby with successful breastfeeding.
• Patients consistently praise our maternity nurses for their compassion and attentiveness.
• To pamper you during your pregnancy, our spa services will be around to offer you complimentary manicures and pedicures.
• And, during the remodeling phase, we're providing restaurant-style pagers to keep you in contact with your families and loved ones.
