Oncology patients must cope with a myriad of emotions as their disease progresses. There are joyful moments, and there are devastating moments.

Chaplain
Good Shepherd Hospital’s board-certified oncology chaplain helps patients find the strength they need to ride the highs and lows of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. The chaplain provides long-term pastoral support to all cancer patients. The chaplain is an integral part of the hospital’s interdisciplinary health team, providing the experienced insight patients need to maintain the spiritual dimension of their lives as they cope with the physical and emotional challenges of having cancer.

Working in partnership with patients' faith communities where appropriate, our chaplain helps people sort through information leading to treatment decisions, resolve family tensions, and address end-of-life decisions that can be emotionally draining.

Chapel
The Good Shepherd Hospital chapel is located on the first floor near the east elevator. The chapel is open 24 hours a day.
