Information for Outpatients and their Families

• All outpatients should schedule their procedure with their physician. The physician will then schedule the procedure with the hospital.
• The physician’s office will instruct the patient of the time of the test or procedure.
• All patients should come to the Outpatient Pavilion fifteen (15) minutes prior to their scheduled procedure unless told something different by their doctor.
• All pre-procedure instructions should be provided by the doctors’ office.
• If the patient is going to be sedated, they must have transportation to take them home. This transportation must be provided by someone who will take responsibility for them, not a taxi or public service.
• Registration can occur at the hospital the day of the procedure if they are not pre-registered.
