What's unique about the Advocate Occupational Health Travel and Immunization Center?
The right protection for you and your family depends on your individual travel plans, past immunizations, ages, and medical histories-as well as on the reliability of the people who advise you. The physicians and nurses at the Center have specialized knowledge about infectious diseases and other potential problems in all parts of the world. They are skilled in providing you with comprehensive travel immunization services and vital advice and information-as well as a referral for post-travel evaluation and treatment if you should need it.
Convenience is another important consideration. Advocate offers the only travelers' immunization center in Lake County and is one of the few facilities in the entire northwest Chicago suburban area that the Illinois Department of Public Health has certified as a Yellow Fever Immunization Center.
When should I visit the Center?
For optimal protection, it's best that you come in for a one-on-one consultation at least two months before your journey.
