Graduates of Advocate Hope Children's Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Celebrate Life

 

WHAT:        They may be too young to have degrees, but these "graduates" have something to celebrate.  Hundreds of children who were patients of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill., have overcome major obstacles to have a second chance at life.  Together with their families, doctors and nurses, they will commemorate their achievements at the fifth annual neonatal intensive care unit picnic family reunion hosted by Advocate Hope Children's Hospital.  

WHO:          Former patients, families and friends of the neonatal intensive care unit at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital will be attending the festivities, which include food and refreshments, caricaturists, music and other treats.

WHEN:        Saturday, August 22, 2009, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE:      Oak Lawn Ice Arena, 9320 S. Denton Ave. Oak Lawn, Illinois
