Advocate Hope Children's Hospital donates $10,000 to KidsWork Children's Museum in Frankfort
Powerful Medicine...Compassionate Care...
Oak Lawn, IL (February 19, 2009) —
WHAT: Before the grand opening of the new Frankfort 'KidsWork Children's Museum' in June, a special check presentation ceremony will be held to thank donors, volunteers, officials and supporters who contributed and worked tirelessly to make the museum a reality. "We are so excited about our partnership with the KidsWork Children's Museum," says Karen Clark, executive director, Hope Children's Hospital. "It is our goal at Hope to raise awareness and provide access to all children about health and wellness, but we can't do it alone. This partnership will strengthen our efforts by allowing us to reach children all across the region."
The $10,000 donation from Hope helped the museum purchase a ‘Tot Spot’ exhibit that will engage the museum’s tiniest visitors.
“We have had a relationship with Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital since 2007,” says Rosalie Plechaty, acting director and board member, KidsWork Children’s Museum. “The Tot Spot exhibit brings us one exhibit closer to fulfilling our mission of bringing a premier children’s museum to this region.”
