Advocate Hope Children's Hospital offers coordinated, multidisciplinary services to infants and children who have cerebral palsy or other neuromotor problems. The usual assessment consists of an evaluation by a developmental pediatrician, physical therapist and occupational therapist. Speech and language therapists, dietitians and other specialist referrals, including orthopedic surgery, are available if needed. Botulinum toxic (Botox) injections can also be obtained for treatment of certain types of spasticity.
"Referral by a Hope physician is required for these services".
